Robert Sekerak, Jr.

Robert J. Sekerak, Jr., Financial Services Associate, has been a member of the Carpenter Financial Services team since 2010 and transitioned to a full-time role in early 2025.

Robert is a licensed financial professional with Series 6, Series 63, and Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance licenses. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management (2008) and an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting (2007) from Penn Highlands Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Development (2010) and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (2012) from Geneva College.

Robert’s career spans both the financial and educational sectors. Prior to joining Carpenter Financial Services full-time, he had an 18-year tenure at Penn Highlands Community College, where he advanced through various leadership roles to ultimately serve as the Regional Site Director for Ebensburg and Somerset County.

A dedicated volunteer, Robert has given his time to organizations such as Sheetz for Kidz, United Way Day of Caring, and Major League Baseball’s Youth Home Run Derby. He has also served on advisory councils for the Indiana Career and Technical Center, Penns Manor School District, and United School District.

A Central Cambria graduate, Robert resides in Nanty Glo with his wife, Christiana, Joe Carpenter’s youngest daughter, and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling—especially on cruises—hunting, fishing, and keeping up with the latest financial news.
